Idaho Painting Process Video

Lately, I have been working on some Pocatello specific gear. I love living in this great town and I know others do too. Why not celebrate it? I have a few stickers dedicated to the cause, but I wanted to make one of them extra special.

It’s been about a year since I picked up a paint brush and I felt it was time to make it happen again. This painting is dedicated to Pocatello’s Gap that can be seen at the Lower Gibson Jack Trail head. The video below shows the process of creating this painting.

Don't Sabotage Your Career

No, I am not offering career advice.

Well, maybe . . .

I had the opportunity to work on this book cover over the last couple months. The book has been a labor of love for a mentor and friend of mine, Connie Miller. I first met Connie while I was working at the Girl Scouts. She was a board member and was part of my marketing committee. We have been friends ever since.

Why this book is so powerful. Connie has over 25 years of executive leadership, most recently as CEO of Icon Credit Union based in Boise, Idaho. She’s won a number of awards, given hundreds of hours of volunteer service, and mentored many people. Now, she can share her guidance with the masses!

If you want to get one of these books for yourself visit: Amazon here. And if you want to learn more about Connie you can check out her Facebook Page here.

Pocatello Ready Mix & Concrete Reimagined

Many of the neon signs I illustrate are in pretty rough shape. I like to imagine them as if they are in their prime--all the neon working and bright. This sign originally belonged to Horrocks Ready Mix and was obtained by Pocatello Ready Mix when the company was purchased. It still stands at the current concrete plant, but isn't in working order. It is pretty neat with some 3D elements. Having worked in the construction industry for a time I imagine this sign was quite something in its day.
